Albion Employee Spotlight: Laura Garrett

You may remember this quote from our blog post: “The Untold Story of Albion.” In light of Brian’s ability to find and retain the industry’s top talent, I wanted to spotlight our incredible team here at Albion. Each month, we will virtually introduce you to a member of our team. I look forward to chatting with my teammates about their interest in the construction industry, hobbies outside of work, and more. In this week’s ‘Employee Spotlight’, we are introducing you to our Business Development Manager, Laura Garrett.
Laura has been with Albion for a little over 7 years and is a vital part in the growth and success of Albion. I asked Laura a few questions about working for Albion and life outside of Albion:
Why do you like working at Albion?
I love working at Albion because of the family atmosphere and culture that we possess. Everyone really does enjoy coming to work each day which makes for an awesome environment to be a part of.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is that I get to do something different almost every day. Interacting with industry partners and building relationships is my forte. I love representing our great organization in the marketplace.
What’s the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part of my job can be finding the best and most effective ways to stay connected with clients and prospects. I am constantly looking for creative ways to make sure that Albion is radically relevant in our industry.
What’s been your proudest moment while working for Albion?
My proudest moment working at Albion has been to see the growth of the firm over the years. When I first joined our team, there were only a handful of us working in the business and in just a few short years, we now have double the talent. The most rewarding part of that is that with every new team member we are able to maintain and grow the family atmosphere that is so important to our company value system.

What are your hobbies outside of work?
Exploring new places with my 2 year old son

Ole Miss Rebels, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves
