Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

Location: Wedowee, Alabama

Serving as the general contractor and working alongside Smith Boland Architects, we helped bring to life this vision of a new church building and fellowship hall to replace the old structures. At 4,930 square feet, the new building is nearly three-times the size of the previous building. Featured elements included an exposed wood ceiling with heavy timber trusses, stained glass windows and a stacked stone exterior façade. The Parrish Hall is a 3,400 square foot structure that was completed without interior finishes – so the church can build out as funds and volunteers are available in the future.
