Northwest Classical Academy

This project is currently in progress as of May 2024! Albion and Design Firm, McMillan, Pazdan, Smith Architecture were selected to provide Design-Build services to the Northwest Classical Academy in Kennesaw, Georgia. Northwest Classical Academy is a public charter school open to all Georgia residents. The scope of this project included the construction of a two-story addition to the Upper School wing, approximately 16,500 square feet to provide seven classrooms, two science classrooms, two science labs, four offices, and two storage areas. Interior renovations included approximately 6,200 sq. ft. of interior space to convert the media center into multipurpose space and reconfigured existing space to provide six offices and two storage areas. Upgrades were also requested for flooring and the addition of a retractable divider and seating in an existing gymnasium. Construction is currently in progress and is scheduled for completion by the end of Summer 2024.
