Georgia DoD Jackson Readiness Center

Albion partnered with the Georgia Department of Defense to renovate and expand the Jackson Readiness Center, a facility serving the needs of National Guard personnel. Delivered through a Design-Bid-Build approach, the project included a full renovation of the existing 13,000 SF facility, along with the construction of a new 3,200 SF pre-engineered metal building for multipurpose training use.

Renovated areas included restrooms, a kitchen, conference room, mothers’ room, individual offices, and storage. The new multipurpose building houses flexible training space, additional offices, and support areas. Sitework improvements included new grading, paving, guardrails, and drainage infrastructure, while HVAC upgrades and the installation of infrared heaters modernized the facility’s large Drill Hall.

This project helps extend the useful life of the Readiness Center and ensures that those who serve have access to functional, up-to-date spaces for training and day-to-day operations.
