Forsyth County Denmark Library
This project is currently in progress as of May 2024! Albion and design partner McMillan, Pazdan, Smith Architecture began work on the Forsyth County Denmark Library in Alpharetta, Georgia in late July of 2023. Forsyth County Public Library is a public library system serving the residents of Forsyth County, Georgia. It currently has four branches with the Denmark Library being its fifth. Usage at the library is among the highest in the state. The scope of the Denmark Library project is for the construction of a proposed 22,509SF one-story type IIB construction building (conventionally framed steel with long-span roof decking) approximately 16’-6” in height. The proposed building will be located at 530 Fowler Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30004. The site is 9.5 acres. In addition to utility and pad preparation for the building, site work will include modifications for parking, stormwater management, and outdoor activity areas. The new library will also offer a panoramic scenic outdoor view with floor-to-ceiling glass wall! By welcoming Denmark Library, the hopes are that it will enhance the community. Construction for the library is currently in progress and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
