Albion Update
With school (and traffic) starting back, football around the corner, and fall not too far away, we are all going full speed! While we have had a busy summer, our fall and winter are looking even crazier with several projects about to take off. Here’s a little bit about what’s going on at Albion:
We are thrilled to be kicking off the construction of the N.W. Branch Library for Clayton County. The Clayton County Library System has six libraries located in the county and a total of 2992 library programs and over ½ million books. We are honored to be building the seventh library in the county, the: N.W. Branch Library.
The new, 20,000+ sq foot library offers Clayton County residents the opportunity to enrich their lives by offering them the best source of books, media, and more. It will be constructed with enclosed and individual rooms, meeting rooms designed for daily functions with a capacity of more than 40 people. Creative activities will be included in an areas known as ‘Maker’s Spaces.’ Additionally, the furniture, fixtures, and equipment will be mobile and user friendly with charging stations for electronic devices. The design was done by the firm Gardner Spencer Smith Trench & Jarbeau, P.C. We are excited to bring their vision to life.
As always, we’re active on Georgia’s college campuses. We’ve got several smaller projects at the University of West Georgia, the University of North Georgia, and Kennesaw State University. We’re also excited to announce we’ve expanded to the longhorn state! We are currently on the Abilene Christian University campus and expanding to other areas of Texas.
Friendly reminder: we work in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. We are active and licensed contractors in these southeastern states!
Finally, we’re finishing up work at AMP on the Kart Racing Centre. This is such a fun and unique project, and I am looking forward to sharing the final product with you all soon. (By the way, have you checked out AMP’s social media? They do a great job of sharing updates and info about what’s going on there. They have a ton of fun events. Check them out!)
While we may be a month or two out (!) from cooler weather, we are certainly looking forward football beginning very soon and some exciting projects to break ground!
