Albion Presents Make-A-Wish With Annual Donation

Several years ago, Albion adopted the Make-A-Wish Foundation as our charitable donation recipient. A donation is made each year on behalf of the employees. We were fortunate to have presented our donation to Make-A-Wish Georgia last week.

Business Development Manager, Laura Garrett; Executive Vice President, Brian Newsome; and President, Kim Newsome present Make-A-Wish Georgia with annual donation. 

Per their website, “Founded in 1995 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Make-A-Wish Georgia works diligently every day to grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses across the state.” Make-A-Wish Georgia is one of 62 local chapters in the United States. 81 cents of every dollar spent goes toward wish granting. Currently, more than 700 children are waiting for their wish to come true. Wishes cost somewhere around $10,800 as most involve travel. Almost half are Disney related!
