Albion Planning for Busy October
October is shaping up to be a busy month for Albion! Our Executive Vice President, Brian Newsome, will be on the road for the next few weeks. Look for him at the following events:
Compass Design & Construction Summit – Charlotte, North Carolina (October 16-17, 2018)
Compass Group, the leading foodservice and support services company, is hosting a Design & Construction Summit in Charlotte, North Carolina. Compass is a repeat customer of ours, and they are known for their service of award-winning restaurants, corporate cafes, hospitals, schools, arenas, museums, and more. The annual summit is taking place October 16 and 17. Our EVP, Brian Newsome, will be in attendance to partake in two days of dialogue ranging from this year’s completed projects and next year’s innovations.
Fall Leadership Conference – Asheville, North Carolina (October 18-21, 2018)
Just following his visit to the Queen City, EVP Brian Newsome will make his way to Asheville, North Carolina for AGC Georgia’s Fall Leadership Conference. Industry vets along with young professionals will join together for a “focused exchange on best practices in leadership.” This conference is a smaller, more relaxed learning environment. We are proud members of the AGC and benefit from their ongoing support of the industry.
Facilities Officers Conference – Savannah, Georgia (October 24-26, 2018)
We will also be attending the University System of Georgia’s Annual Facilities Officers Conference in Savannah, Georgia. The annual conference is taking place October 24-26, 2018. Its goal is to serve as a professional development opportunity for USG real estate and facilities officers. The various sessions and activities focus on all aspects of facility management. This includes open dialogue between institutions and industry partners on best practices and trends in higher education construction. As evidenced by our resume, higher education is a pillar of our business.
The opportunities for learning and collaboration at all of these events are endless. Year after year, we look forward to attending our favorite events and adding new ones to the mix.
