Project Scope
Description
Albion served as the GC for the renovation of Purcell Hall, located in the heart of NGTC’s main quad. Completed in July 2025, this facility continues to serve as a hub for instruction, learning, and campus activity.
The renovation expanded & modernized the building to provide additional floor space for the Electrical Systems Technology Program and to support the future Construction Maintenance and Management Program. Work included new & reconfigured laboratories, classrooms, offices, storage areas, and ADA-compliant restrooms. The project also featured the redevelopment of the building’s front entrance and surrounding pedestrian access, creating a more welcoming and accessible experience for students, faculty, and visitors.
NGTC now has a revitalized facility that strengthens its ability to deliver both classroom instruction & hands-on training for students pursuing technical careers. NGTC leadership & students alike have expressed their excitement with the finished result, noting that the project represents a major step forward in supporting both workforce development and student success.
