Project Scope
Description
Albion, along with Clark Patterson Lee, completed the design/build and renovation of an existing 20,084 SF facility to support a prominent international designer and manufacturer of service aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. The project was a partnership between the Governor’s Office of the State of Georgia, the Georgia Department of Labor’s Quick Start Program, the Technical College System of Georgia and Columbus Technical College. The existing building was renovated accommodate onboarding and training for hourly, contract and salaried employees of the manufacturer. The project goals included sustainable design and construction strategies with a goal of base certification under the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Construction Act (“Georgia Peach”) rating system.
