Albion joins partners for Forsyth County Touch a Truck

On Friday, April 5th, Albion joined partners, Vertical Earth to participate in a Touch a Truck event hosted by the Forsyth County Public Library at nearby Fowler Park. This family-friendly event welcomed over 1,500 members of Forsyth and surrounding communities for an afternoon of interacting with 13 truck presenters.

This is the FCPL’s third year holding this event at Fowler Park. “This event gets bigger and better every year! We just don’t have the space to do it at any of our libraries anymore,” said FCPL Communications Manager, Leslie Marinelli. “Fowler Park is the perfect venue for this. We’re so thankful for our partnership with Forsyth County Parks & Recreation.”

Vertical Earth has partnered with Albion as the subcontractor to provide both site work and earth work services for the Denmark Public Library project located in Cumming, Georgia.

Forsyth County has become an important space for our Albion team! A few of our Albion team members reside in Forsyth County and are eager to see the growth in their very own community. By welcoming Denmark Library, the hopes are that it will enhance the community. Albion is making our best efforts so those that attended the Touch a Truck event, along with the rest of the community will be soon reading books with a panoramic scenic outdoor view with floor to ceiling glass wall!

This will be the ninth library project for Albion, and one of many projects in the Forsyth community. Construction for the library is currently in progress and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.

“Part of being an experience-driven team means that we are not only passionate about the projects we build but about the people that will benefit from them. It’s amazing to see so many smiling faces (at this event). It’s been even more inspiring to see how excited the community is about welcoming the new Denmark Library! It is a lovely reminder of why we do what we do”, said Albion Marketing Coordinator, Hilary Sigler.
