When Albion was selected as the General Contractor for the construction of the new Forsyth County Library, Forsyth County had four branches at that time; the new Denmark Library would be its fifth.

The new building was comprised of a 22,509 SF, one-story type IIB construction building (conventionally framed steel with long-span roof decking), approximately 16’-6” in height. Located in Alpharetta, GA, the 9.5-acre site required utility and pad preparation for the building, as well as sitework modifications for parking, stormwater management, and outdoor activity areas. The new library also offers a panoramic scenic outdoor view with floor-to-ceiling glass walls.
