Albion was selected to construct Clayton County Fire Station #9 as part of the county’s continued investment in public safety infrastructure. In partnership with Pond & Company, this new facility was delivered through a Design-Bid-Build approach and totals 9,494 square feet. The station includes ten individual sleeping quarters, a fully equipped kitchen, and an exercise room to support day-to-day operations and staff wellness. Two apparatus bays are designed to accommodate emergency vehicles with adjacent clean rooms and dedicated gear storage to support rapid response and decontamination efforts.

Constructed with a brick exterior and load-bearing masonry, the facility also includes architectural signage and steel canopies for weather protection. Fire Station #9 will provide a modern, secure, and reliable home base for first responders serving one of Clayton County’s active service areas.
