Description
The Clayton County Library System comprises six libraries located throughout the county, offering a total of 2,992 library programs and over half a million books. Albion has been selected to build the seventh library, the N.W. Branch Library. This new facility, which spans over 20,000 square feet, provides Clayton County residents with the opportunity to enrich their lives through access to an extensive collection of books, media, and more.
The library features several unique design elements, including rulon and cloud ceilings with suspended axiom trim, a frameless glass system, and large radius storefront windows. Inside, there are enclosed individual rooms as well as meeting rooms that can accommodate over 40 people. The library also includes creative areas known as “Maker’s Spaces” for various activities.
Additionally, the furniture, fixtures, and equipment throughout the library are mobile and user-friendly, equipped with charging stations for electronic devices.
