Albion was proud to be selected as the General Contractor through a Proposal-Based Selection for the renovation of a 33,000 square foot building. This two-story structure had been vacated due to environmental concerns and required a complete overhaul to meet current standards. The project involved extensive abatement on both floors, followed by the replacement of the HVAC chiller and all ductwork. Additionally, new branch electrical wiring and lighting were installed, along with new plumbing lines for the reconfigured restrooms, a new fire sprinkler system, and new windows.

The finishes included the installation of new walls, acoustical ceilings, flooring, doors, glazing, and painting. The scope also covered all new millwork, lockers, low-voltage/data/voice systems, and fire alarms. With completion on time and within budget, DeKalb County was thrilled with the results.
