Albion successfully completed a brownfield remediation project at the West Midtown site, which later became the new headquarters for the Atlanta Humane Society.

The remediation involved extensive planning, careful coordination, and innovative thinking. Albion excavated multiple areas on the site to test the walls for contamination. If any wall tested positive for unsuitable material, we would dig deeper and widen our excavation to assess a larger area. This process required precision to ensure all contamination was removed.

We collaborated with a designated, approved landfill in North Georgia, and each truckload of waste had to be meticulously tracked and documented. As a result, we transformed the site into a usable greenfield for the Atlanta Humane Society Headquarters. Albion successfully completed this remediation under budget and ahead of schedule.
